‘Aadukalam’, Dhanush’s Pongal release, comes sans a villain. But still, the film will be racy and interesting from the beginning till end, say reliable sources which are close to director Vettrimaran.

Confirming this, the director says, “In our life too, there are no real villains. People, depending on the situations, behave good and bad. ‘Aadukalam’ will speak about a set of such persons.”

On the character played by Kishore, his ‘Polladhavan’ antagonist, Vettrimaran says, “Many thought Kishore is playing a baddie. But it is not true. One can get to see a new dimension of the actor in ‘Aadukalam’.”

Heaping laurels on Dhanush, the director says, “He is a director’s actor, who is always ready to do experiments. For ‘Aadukalam’, he practiced hard the Madurai slang and the body language of the youngsters there.”
